PrinTinG

It's 10 pm on Thursday night, the night before Spring Fair, and I am just now printing my photos. I've been so swamped with work lately that I've hardly had time for anything else.

Since I've been running on empty for the past few weeks, I am really craving this weekend off. I plan to do nothing but Spring Fair all weekend, whether it be selling photos at a booth with Brain Coral, eating Indian food from one of the food vendors, or drinking at the beer garden. If you're also planning to go to Spring Fair, please stop by our booth to say hi. (I promise there will be no pressure to buy!)

Oh damn, I just remembered I have stats homework this weekend as well. I have no idea how I'm going to manage to find the time to do it, since it usually takes me hours. It looks like I won't be taking the whole weekend off. Damn. Well, I can still go out at least one night, right? Please?!?! There will be, at the very least, one beer enjoyed in the beer garden.

That is, assuming it doesn't rain and there is a beer garden and there is a Spring Fair tomorrow. Rain is predicted for the next two days: showers on Friday, and scattered thunder storms and wind on Saturday. Fortunately, Sunday is supposed to be mostly sunny, so at least we'll have one good day.

...

Ooh, I feel bad now. Someone just came by wanting to use the printer to print photos to sell tomorrow at Spring Fair, and I didn't give the printer to her. I don't have enough time as it is to print everything I want to print, and since we have the same "deadline", it seemed fair enough to me that since I was here first and already working, that I should get to stay. Still, I felt badly because I know that if the situation were reversed, I'd be feeling pretty panicked that I wasn't going to be able to print before Spring Fair starts.

...

Anyway, I am very happy just to have the opportunity to print out all my stuff. It's kind of fun to see all my stuff in real life, and not just on the computer. What is it about a printed photograph?

You can touch it? And if it's a photo of a person, you can take a sharpie and draw a cartoonish looking mustache on them. Woohoo!

Good luck this weekend, sorry I will miss it all...I'd like to see whatever photos you have that you don't sell (I mean, I hope you sell them ALL) but if there are any left...maybe I'll make a post festival purchase ;-)

Do your stats homework young lady or it's no spring fair for you. ;) Have a beer for me while you're there. I won't have time to pop in, sorry.
