I Wish I'd Met Her

One of the first Philly blogs I discovered, long before the thought of moving to Philly had ever even crossed my mind, was Sarcasmo's. In addition to her personal blog, I found her in various places on the internet, including Phillyist. So when I found out I was moving to Philadelphia, I figured I might finally get a chance to meet her (though I still have yet to attend a meetup). In fact, when I mentioned that I was moving to Philly, The Bed and Breakfast Man (all the way from Australia) left a comment saying, you know, Sarcasmo lives there, and I was all, I KNOW, how cool! (I used to participate in a daily trivia challenge that he runs, and I would also see Sarcasmo there, always with a higher score than me. I haven't played in a few months though, and don't know if she was still playing either.)

Well, unfortunately I will never get the chance to meet her after all because she passed away this morning. I don't really know what to say, especially since I really didn't know her. But I enjoyed reading her voice, in all the places it came from on the internet. I didn't have to meet her to catch a glimpse of what was obviously a very funny, sarcastic, witty, intelligent, and charming personality. She will certainly be missed.
