Baby needs clothes and I need your advice.
Last year I bought a whole bunch of stuff for Squeakles in the summer and each item cost me about $5 from Old Navy, on sale. Now Squeakles needs some for fall/winter clothes but the sale prices at Old Navy and regular prices at Target are around $10-12 for each piece.
Am I still too early in the season for the really good sales? Is it just that clothes for toddlers are more expensive than clothes for babies? (I think Squeakles needs size 2T in pants for when he's in his cloth diapers, which is most of the time.) Maybe the days of buying three onesies for $10 are over...
We don't really need much, actually. I'm looking for 2-3 pairs of "trousers" I guess, like corduroys and dark khakis (flannel lined would be great), not sweatpants or jeans (we have tons of jeans actually) and a couple of long-sleeved shirts. The shirts are especially hard because I'm a little bit picky and find shirts for boys to often be really, well, boyish and boring. It's not that I want them to be frilly and pink, but bird designs instead of cars/trucks would be nice.
Where do you shop for kids' clothes?
